Light of dozens of torpedoes lit up the screen as they plowed into the hull. The Enterprise as ordered was trying to pass through the enemy fleet but at this moment was in the worse of positions. Viced right in the centre of the ships. On the bridge panels and bulkheads exploded, sending fire and sparks in their wake. The screams and panic stricken voices were almost deafening as bodies flew and lay still around Valdora. Finally main power failed and the bridge was left in darkness for a moment until emergency lighting kicked in. Lucan pulled himself up into his chair, blood and bruises evident from the fall. Behind him fire crackled and burned, the bridge ablaze. "Report!" He called out.

Foley rushed around sickbay as the casualties flooded in. " Foley to Captain Valdora. Sir , there are heavy casualties coming in from all over the ship. We are doing our best to treat everyone. I would suggest you come down yourself Sir if you have any injuries, Foley out."
Foley sighed wiped more blood from his eye and rushed over to see to a new crew member that had just been brought in with heavy burns all over their body.

Logan hears the captain asking for a report and he pulls himself up from the floor and to the nearest station. He moved the dead body from the chair and sat down. "Main Power is offline, As are weapons transporters and warp drive." Logan said as he turned to Captain Valdora and looked at him.

Valdora lowered his head for a moment and then raised it to look back at his first officer. "Alright sound the alert, aband...." he began to say but stoped in mid sentence as on the screen several new ships appeared and began firing on the Covenant vessels.

Kerak made his way down the corridor, holding his broken arm in place and limping from a bad fall. The ship around him groaned like a wounded beast, most of the corridors lights were out, some flickering with sparks spraying from fallen and broken panels. Suddenly the shuddering of the giant ship had stoped and there was a new sound. The Romulan frowned and continued to will himself forward, sucking up the pain, until his finally reached the doors of sickbay leaning against the door with a groan as he entered.

Post by Major Randall Gordon on Nov 22, 2009 15:03:59 GMT -5
The hunter-killer team stood by still, albeit now pressed against one of the walls, each person holding the arm of the person next to them in an interlocking sequence in order to prevent anyone from getting knocked around. The shuddering stopped, with most of the lighting down, they released themselves and fell to the floor, the impact not as bad as they thought.
Gordon tried external com channels, but none seemed to work in this section. With the discovery of that fact, he shook his head. "Alright, our mission has been changed. Rosa, you're with me. Gaz, Griggs, you're team Two. Switch to night vision, spread out and search for survivors. Tag any wounded for transport to sickbay, identify the fallen for future retrieval. Keep in contact." "Roger that." The two teams fanned out along the deck.
Team One made their way along the corridor to one of the rooms nearby. "Stack up." his command was followed wordlessly before he indicated for her to go, and so she did. "Clear Left." "Clear Right." "We've got friendlies." "Roger that." he replied, placing two thumbs to the neck of a young Ensign as Rosa checked the others, the entire area being a dark green to him due to the darkness and the night vision. "Injured friendly has pulse, tagging for transport." He tagged the girl for transport to sickbay and soon she de-materialized. "Two injured friendlies tagged for transport." Rosa said to him. "Move out."
They made their way along the deck, tagging more people and identifying the fallen. Finally they got to a turbolift shaft. "Turbolift's down, stuck inbetween two decks." he said. "Wait a minute, picking up a life-sign inside. Romulan, very faint." she told him. "Hook up." The two attached their rappelling ropes to the edge of the turbolift shaft, then they rappelled down, avoiding debris as they went.
"I'd hate to have been in this shaft while we were being shelled." Rosa mused as they continued down. "Too right. Let's see if it's not too late for our Romulan friend." "Roger that."
The pair touched down on top of the turbolift, and Gordon opened the emergency exit shaft via a manual crank. Rosa then elegantly lowered herself into the turbolift itself and checked for a pulse on the Romulan. "Injured friendly has a pulse, very faint." "Tag him with the priority enhancer." "Roger that." Soon the Romulan de-materialized, the priority enhancer sending an alert to Sickbay's computer that would be heard by the medical staff indicating a priority patient.
He nodded as his partner climbed out onto the top of the turbolift, then he gestured upward and she nodded wordlessly as the two Marine snipers climbed up the rope, retracing their steps.

Jo'rek was conscious enough to feel a tingling. When he finally opened his eyes, a haze of green from his blood covering his vision, he saw the faces of two nurses. He could barely turn his head but saw that sickbay was chaos. There must of been hundreds crammed into the room. Moans of pain and frantic medical staff could be heard. And to top it they were working with emergency lights and power. "Doc..." he tried to say as he saw Doctor Foley approach.

Foley moved quickly over to the Romulan Chief and ran a scan over him. It wasn't good.
" Lie still Chief" he said sharply , trying not to let the concern enter his voice.
The scan showed that most of the Romulans ribs were bust and that one lung had completely filled with blood. This along with other bone breaks and what appeared to be viscious head trauma made Foley need to act quickly.
" Alright lets move Ensign Savage from that biobed and onto one of the makeshift beds. His legs are broken but he will survive.Chief Jo'rek will die unless I get to work on him now so lets move!"
He looked up as the Nurse he had spoken to stood there , then muttered to Foley- " But Sir , he's a Romulan...."
Foley took one long stride up to the nurse stood before him looking down upon him whilst the nurse looked up.
" I DON'T CARE WHAT PLANET HE'S FROM OR WHAT RACE HE IS. HE IS NOW A MEMBER OF STARFLEET AND A MEMBER OF THIS CREW. YOU ARE HERE TO SAVE LIVES AND HELP EPOPLE NOW MOVE!" He roared at the nurse who quickly moved to help Foley lift the Romulan onto the free biobed.
Foley then quickly got to work trying to repair the damage done to Jo'rek whilst the Romulan drifted in and out of conciousness.

The strange new ships were elegant and a combination of curving steel plates and a strange, regal gold glow emanating from them as they seemed to simply appear from space, flat yellow screens opening up as if the fabric of space had been torn open to allow these ships to enter the realm in which the Enterprise was being attacked.
Any sensors left online would see these blips appearing 360 degrees in all four dimensions around the Enterprise as they started to fire back at the Covenant ships, tearing through their numerous ships in all directions, but mainly dead ahead of the enterprise, carving out a hole as they launched strange, deadly projectiles through space from what seemed like many weapons systems, Golden rays of light being emitted from arrays on the ship, in the front while small golden arrow-like energy projectiles with square metallic cartridges on the end were fired from various places across the segmented hulls of every ship each one somewhat smaller than a Defiant class destroyer.
Soon three ships surrounded the Enterprise in a triangle like formation, the ship rocking from something as each launched a Magnetic cable onto the hull of the ship as they drew taught... the ships beginning to move forward with the Enterprise as the Covenant started to collapse into the circle the ships had made for them, The strange ships taking, and deflecting weapons fire off of their hull... though some ships did not have this fortune, the sheer amount of firepower coming at them starting to ignite on their hulls and causing the ships to explode in a fiery Nova of incredible proportions, some damaged ships just flying out into crowds of Covenant ones and fighting to the Death as the Enterprise was Pulled from their Midst, a strange bubble of sorts, visible from the inside enveloping around the three ships and the enterprise between them as all fire coming in their direction stopped, the blips of the odd ships disappearing besides the three as the Yellow rips of the fabric of space flashed open again as the remaining ships went through them, the squares closing behind them as they vanished, the Enterprise was safe from the Wrath of the Covenant.
What technology is this? and who are these people that oppose the covenant. Questions to be answered... soon, but for now, silence, mourning, and repairs as the Enterprise was just pulled through space by the ship's engines... another remarkable difference, their engines leaving visibly followable trails of glowing golden light

Jade pulled herself up, hair out of place and her face covered with black dust from the blazing fires. "Captain!" She called out "the other ships, they are attacking the Covenant! I am picking up some sort of strange subspace readings with what sensors we have left. Wait....they are extending something around us. We are being tractored...and I think we are under some sort of cloak" She turned her chair to face the centre of the bridge where Logan and Valdora stood in confusion "I think we are being rescued."

Valdora looked back at Mandelo with a frown and then straight back at the static screen where the smaller ships were pulling them. "Hail...." was all he managed to get out. Suddenly a beam of light extended over the Captain and a second later he was gone. They barely had time to react as the Covenant took what they had taken and decided to cut their losses. The remaining fleet brought themselves about the shot off into their own faster than light drives. All on the bridge looked around in shock and confusion. But as Logan took command they knew one thing, they couldn't go back for him. Not yet. It is not what he would want. The Priority is the safety of the ship and her crew. If the Captain was alive he was gone and he was alone

"Captain!" Jade shot up from her chair and looked over with her mouth wide at Commander Logan. She immediately snapped back to action and got onto her station. "The Covenant must of beamed him aboard......their gone." She turned around, opening her mouth to suggest going after him and stopped as soon as she saw the look in Logan's eyes. She nodded and stood, going over to ops and taking the station. "Damage and casualty reports are slowly coming in from the decks that we can still contact. Hull breaches on decks 2,3,5,6,15,16,19 and 23. Main power is obviously offline, the port warp nassel is damaged and venting plasma. The warp core is offline, the slipstream core has been practically destroyed" she gulped at that one given there current position "transporters, replicators and turbolifts 1 through 14 are offline. The main computer is offline, the core has been damaged....if Figgs is still alive he has ten minuets to repair it or the AI will be lost for good." She shook her head at these reports but kept reading, she stopped for a second and swallowed hard before reading the next one "Decks 10 and 11 are....gone. Casually reports are still being updated with 71 confirmed dead, 307 currently reported injured and climbing and 167 are missing." She sat back in the chair with a look of disbelief and terror on her face. Nothing elsewhere had prepared her for this harsh reality. "My God."

The flicker of lights, hull fragments and wires litter the room housing the main computer. The damage was extensive. Figueroa and Hikari both laid upon the floor, slowly they begin the stir. Wounds apparent and injuries hindering their frail bodies. During the final attack he had taken a hit upon the forehead opening a wound that bleed. He looked over to check up on Hikari but was glad to see she was alright. A smile came to his face as he felt content. "Enterprise Damage Report?" Nothing. "Enterprise?" His face quickly turned sour as he did not hear from his entrusted companion. He got up and went straight for the core removing debris as he went. "No..." Almost in disbelief as he befell upon the core, it was damaged and power was not present. The hard-drive was intact but that would not save the AI as it was. He had to move quick to restore it's systems before she would be reset and all that she was will be lost.
What felt like en eternity was nothing more then a few minutes as both sweat and blood trickled down compounding the floor in a drip of work. Reestablishing circuits and routes, replacing and reconnecting countless wires on to what can only be described as total lost. With the help of Makoto they were able to repair the damage core but due to the power outage they were uncertain with Enterprise was still herself. "Maru-chan?" Hikari barely whispered as the voice and form of the blue hologram came to fruition. "Hello Lt. Hikari, Lt. Figueroa. Missed me?" A sigh of relief came from Andrew as he collasped onto the floor. His smile still there as he looked up towards the ceiling, his world becoming a little brighter.

As the engineering teams raced and the ship was no longer draining power for weapons and warp drive, the lights came back up to standard and things resumed, more or less.
Groaning Shepard stands up from where he had been thrown and says "Enterprise, report." after a few moments Enterprise fills him and everyone else on the CIC in on whats happend. Silence rules untill Shepard says "Assist where you can people, i'm heading to consult with the XO. Commander Larkon, whould you care to join me?" Shepard waits for the commander by the doors.
