Dr Foley , had managed to set up a large enough area for Dr Nomonor to reside in until she was her normal self and could reside in her quarters again.
He stood waiting in the area complete with food , sleeping area and other essentials as the Dr arrived.
" Hello Dr Nomonor" he said cautiously. In truth Dr Foley had no idea about how to speak to act around Faith now and that could easily be heard in his voice. " Umm , I have food for you here and here is where you can sleep" he said pointing to each in turn. "If you should need anything, just......... um , ah , make a noise" he finished stiffly and headed out of the living area shutting the door behind him.

"Please have a seat" Valdora gestured as he sat at his desk. "I prefer to stand" Malak replied, staying stood with his hands clasped behind his back and eyes staring down upon the Valen Captain. "As you wish" Valdora spoke "first things first. Why did you attack and destroy one of our ships?" "The ship appeared in our space without warning or warrant. As such it was destroyed and its survivors taken hostage." "Then why these talks with us?" Valdora asked in confusion. "Because you did as you were instructed. You stopped and now you will obey our demands." "One thing at a time" Valdora let out a breath "Commander Larken says they were given no warning hail, no demands." "He is mistaken" Malak still had not moved an inch. "Is he?" "If you question my word these peace talks are over." "No! Listen..." he sighed "just give me your demands and will see what I can do." Malak placed a chip on the Captain's desk. "This is a list of our demands. Disobey them at your own risk." Valdora took the chip, checked it over for a moment before accidentally activating its holo screen which scrolled before him. "I had it made out in your peoples most common language. I believe you call it English" Malak said. Valdora read the demands and automatically his face turned sour. "These demands say we can not exceed warp 2. At that speed it will take us years to cross your space. We have a mission deeper in quadrant!" "Not my concern." "You want us to disarm all of our defensive and weapons systems which would leave us defenseless." "You would no longer be a threat." "You.......want us to take our AI computer offline?" "Artificial Intelligence was the cause of much trouble in these parts and as such is banned. When in our space you will not use it." "You don't understand. If we turn it off then it would reset the program. We would essentially be killing a sentient being!" Valdora stood and slammed his fist on the table. "A tool." Valdora then almost gasped at the last "you want two member of my crew to be handed over to your as slaves!" "A token of good will. You will obey these terms or you will be destroyed. It is your choice Captain. You have four of your hours to decide. I will take my leave now." With that Malak turned and headed out to door. He was joined at either side by his beastly guards. "Take me back to my shuttle" he demanded of Hunter. Minuets later the shuttle was heading out of the shuttle bay. Short and sweet. Valdora sat in his ready room for a few minuets before finally heading out onto the bridge. Lucan felt all action stop, every eye upon him. "We no longer have a choice. We can not meet his demands under any circumstances. We have two choices: We turn back or we carry on forward. Either will no doubt not be satisfactory to the Covenant" as he spoke he made his way to the Command Chair and sat in it, he pressed the com line to the Computer core "Lieutenants. Do it." He closed the channel and looked around before opening one to the whole ship. "All hands. Battle stations."

Shepard looks at the many holographic updates and the other status reports and then calls out to his marines on their channel. "Alright, heavy guard on the CIC, Bridge, Engineering, Computer core, and all other priority targets. Keep in cover and get ready for anything. Lt. Gordon, you are in charge of our hunter killer parties, you go where the fighting is and hit them from the back. Lt. Kerek, you're to defend the computer core, both Hikari and Figueroa will be there inacting their attacks on the enemies computers, so you hold the line no matter what." Standing at the main holopad Shepard waits as the indicators show the incoming assault force. Paging the bridge he says "Tactical, this is CIC, i have noticed a patern in their formation, target the small bulge like craft with spikes the lurk behind their fighters, they fit the profile for boarding craft, and if they are anything like most races boarding craft, they can go right through our shields and board us directly, or worse, they could be flying bombs, either way, they are trying to protect them so it may be wise to take a few out, and see how they react."

Lieutenant Commander Larkon was observing the progress being made. He wasn't used to something like this, he had never been in a station like this, he was more observing security, tactical officers and marines rather than leading a security detail. "Major if they board us, we have to be ready. We don't know what their weapons are like, we don't know their attack patterns, this is a foreign threat to us."

Valdora sat still in the command chair amiss a sea of chaos and action around him as all hands got to battle stations and prepared for battle. He turned his head toward Logan who was busy giving out orders and gestured for him to come closer. "Your recommendation Commander, do we press on ahead or do we turn back? We are going to be pursued either way."

The signal. "Enterprise, initiate Spartan Program Authorization Figueroa Omega 26." Disguised as a com signal it is a virus programed to infiltrate and distract ship systems long enough to begin downloading and sending information from a computer core. The same program acts like a shield for our own system protecting it from any similar attempts at acquiring our own data. "Hikari-san hows the information retrieval unit?" A device designed by Hikari to collect and store the information we receive from the virus. The information is stored separately from the main computer to prevent any virus or hackers getting in.

Gordon received the communication, and nodded, "Alright, we're the hunter-killer team. Remain on standby to flank enemy boarders. Use whatever means necessary to take those things down.." He was interrupted by the AI appearing on a small holopad nearby, "Lieutenant, perhaps I can be of some help?" "Go ahead Enterprise." "These are the scans I ran of the Covenant Commander and his two body guards, I'm sure you will find them most useful." "Thank you ma'am." "Any time.". The AI faded as he took the results of the scans, and briefed his team on the weaknesses of their enemy, where to strike for the most damage, and what areas would be most likely kill-shots.
After he finished, he turned to the holopad again, "Enterprise, see that this information is common knowledge throughout the ship, summarize it to key points, Marines first, then Security, then everyone else." "Understood." was the reply.
