She lay there for a moment after the Marines left, a small blush having come to her face. Then the call for the staff meeting came and she was all business again, "Let's go."
After getting there, she took her seat and caught up on what she missed.
Then the news about the Major came, and while not knowing the man very well she prayed that he'd be alright.
"What kind of something, Lieutenant?" She asked, not usually being out of the loop, but being stuck in the computer core with a potential love interest could do that to a girl.

Foley stood up.
" Excuse me Commander" he said nodding towards Logan and headed out of the observation lounge. "Trying to be the hero again no doubt" the Dr muttered to himself quietly as he entered the turbolift.
He rushed into sickbay to see the Major lying on a biobed looking like he'd been in a car crash. Burns covered both hands and half of his face and a quick scan revealed extreme internal injuries. He was also annoyed to see he hadn't been using the recommended treatment for the shards that had entered his legs during the fight with the Remans.
"Why do Marines insist on being so thick headed?" He said quietly as he got to work repairing the Marines body once more.

Kerak pointed to the windows behind them. It was getting larger now, a giant vessel like nothing they had ever seen.

The vessel before them was of a different design than that of the one's towing them, noticeably so. The front of this great ship like a flat vertical ring, extending around the entire ship before straight plates took over extending diagonally towards the center of the ship, following the horse-shoe like pattern, but much straighter on both sides. The gigantic reflective plates had elegant designs carved into them... like giant murals telling great stories on a wall, golden lights emitted from within the horse-shoe shaped vessel, its immense size was unspeakable, comparable to a flat assimilation cube in total size. The three ships maneuvered and turned as the enterprise was brought down underneath the ship... taking it towards the entrance between the two pylons on the end of the ship... the glow shining on the battered hull of the ship as a heartwarming feeling of calm would wash over the ship, before they heard the thunks of the magnetic cables leaving them as they stared down the inside of the ship... slowly drifting towards the center of the magnificent vessel, the glow not as bright so far away from the center... the golden lights getting brighter and brighter as some sort of tribal music, consisting of horns, drums, wind chime like sounds, and a sort of angelic choir began to be heard as the enterprise seemed to move on its own forward the music getting clearer and louder as they moved inside, the battleship so minuscule in comparison. As the enterprise moved closer and closer... the shapes of other ships could be sighted in the cover of this massive ship, the golden glow reflecting off of their own severely damaged and battered hulls... some pristine and damaged federation escape pods the most noticeable... floating huddled together like children trying to keep warm... another ship being a Klingon vor'cha... one of its nacelles having been blown off and a hole in the hull here and there. The enterprise settled in-between the other ships in the center, the welcoming golden glow making it impossible to see the interior of the large ship, various lights however could be made out, and the outlines of structures and what may be hangers barely visible through the glow. The music continued for a few more moments before simply stopping... silence enveloping the enclosure. (It's only important that you know what the voice sounds like, because it's like a white version of Morgan Freeman, and the look-over of the ship. The music too.) Within a few moments, a light appeared on the floor next to Kerek, sprouting up in a bright flash before it formed a golden hologram, even higher in quality than that of the Enterprise herself, showing a male being that is much taller than Doctor Foley and Faith, maybe seven and a half feet tall, but very similar in appearance to her. His details of color were hidden... but it was obvious to those that have seen her that he was of the same species... holding a great staff adorned with feathers at the top, the hand holding the staff holding a long string of beads as well. His outfit was tribal in nature, shirtless and only with what might have been a fine leather vest, an armband on the top of his right bi-cep with at least eight feathers stuck in it in decoration, he also wore no shoes, only what seemed to be a loose silk like material as a long skirt that extended down to his ankles, or a robe with no top, only the waist down. His very high physical status was visible in great detail in the hologram as his eyes slowly gazed around the room, looking at each individual with a wondering stare before he smiled, opening his arms wide in a welcoming gesture before bringing his staff down onto the floor and making an audible crack of it hitting the floor, the sound it would have made if real wood had done the same. "Welcome, travelers."

Makoto could only stare in wonder as the Enterprise got closer to the center of the great ship, never having seen anything like it before.
She backed up one step as the golden hologram appeared, her mouth dropping for a moment before she hastily closed it again while moving next to Lt. Figueroa, silently wondering what this entity was while at the same time appreciating the physical presence that radiated off of him. A small smile came to her face as she listened to him welcome them, and she nodded in responce.
