Commander.....You remember my promise to the Captain to keep this ship in one piece at all times.....That means you have to do your part in not getting hit right in the I've got 30% of our crew Critical, 20 % of them are Injured, and The rest are working overtime trying to keep the shields going, I'm working on re-routing as much power as I can to the vital systems, but weapons may be at a minmal for some time. Plus, if the sheilds go, then we might be looking at losing decks 20-30. So if there is any meetings, I might be a little late.

Jade pulled herself up and sat back in her chair, her console was covered in ash from the nearby open flame. She listened to the report come in from the engine room and sighed inwardly happy that Cambell was still alive down there. They seemed to be losing everyone else. She had to laugh at his last words as the ship shuck apart around them. "Cambell. If the shields fail...which they are about to then there won't be a dam ship!" She replied and turned to give her own report "shields have almost failed Commander."

Post by 1st Lieutenant Kerak on Dec 11, 2009 10:39:03 GMT -5
Kerak ran down the hall with the remaining members of his squad and into a room that the new English computer read out had informed them was the "Hanger Deck." It would seem of all the technologies this Covenant had transporters were not among them. He walked into the hanger deck and looked down at what remained after the evacuation. Only one small craft. It would have to do. :-*Kerak to Gordon and Captain, sirs there is a hanger down here but looks like we will have to make do with one remaining shuttle.

Post by Doctor Calvin Foley on Dec 11, 2009 11:46:06 GMT -5
Foley heard the com come in and immediately sprang to action.
" Right , Savage , Halloway , Hart , Steamboat and Helmsley your with me lets go!" he cried grabbing medical supplies and heading straight to the engine room.
Flames spurted everywhere and the bodies of dead and injured crew members were strewn here and there whilst the team members still living worked desperately to keep things under control.
"Lets get them the living out of here! If they are dead leave them they can be move later!" Foley cried as he checked the pulse of one member, found nothing and moved onto the next.
Dragging the last injured crew member out into the corridor the Doctor called for help to bring them all to sickbay. He had counted seven dead crew members in there. Some of the bodies so mangled it was impossible to tell who they were.
Back in sickbay a few minutes later he was again working like a madman trying to save the lives of the starfleet officers who had put their lives on the line in service to the Federation.

Gordon turns to the Captain after the comm from Kerak comes in. "Well what do you think sir, do we stay here and try to aid the Enterprise? or go back to the Enterprise? If these scanners are correct, she's taken a heavy beating." he said.

"The shields around this ship and the Enterprise are failing and we have no hope of transferring everyone here to escape on this ship. No doubt this will be their primary target once the shields fail" Valdora responded and began to walk away at a fast pace "lets get the hell out of here people!"

Jo'rek nodded in response and brought the Enterprise down and around the flag, trying to stay within the shields and still perform evasives. It was not easy.

Gordon nodded and turned to his team. "Alright you heard the man let's move!" Together they made their way through the battered interior of the ship, making their approach to the shuttle bay. Kerak's team was already in the shuttle, and the Captain boarded first while Gordon's team took up a standard shuttle defensive position as he did so. Then, Gaz and Griggs tapped Rosa and Randy's shoulders, peeling off and entering the shuttle. Rosa tapped Gordon's shoulder and peeled off, entering the shuttle. Then Gordon backed up halfway up the ramp before entering the shuttle as well. Rosa took her station in the pilot's seat, and began the startup sequence...learning the controls as best she could before the shuttle finally revved up and she accelerated out of the open doors into space.

As soon as they cleared the doors Valdora could see the Covenant ships closing around them. Suddenly and violently the Enterprise rushed past in doing insane moves and still obviously trying to stay with the shields. He sat behind the pilot seat at the other station and now looked over it with haste. "This would appear to be the com...." he said with hope and pressed it. :-*Valdora to Enterprise. Come in Enterprise.

"Sir If we take another direct hit our weapons are going to be taken offline." Sarah said as she tapped her console "On another note sir. We have almost exhausted our compliment of photon torpedos and our phasers are almost completely drained. Just figured i'd give you that status report." She said before the ship shook again

"You to Commander. We are in the Covenant shuttle. Since I take it transporters are offline, open your shuttle bay doors and try to stay still" Valdora replied and turned to Shughart "I hope you're a good pilot Sergent."

Gordon leaned back on the bench he was sitting on with the other Marines, and sighed. Inwardly, he hated being on shuttles during a combat effective situation. None of his talents were useful here, and there's always a chance he could be blown up by some starship. No, he preferred being on the ground or on the firm deck plating of a ship during a combat effective situation, at least that way he had the ability to fight back.
Rosa turned her head to the Captain. "I am qualified as a shuttle pilot, although it wasn't my first choice as a full-time profession. You boys and girls might want to hang on." she said, taking the shuttle towards the Enterprise.
