OOC: For those who haven't: Reading Faiths last post in the previous part is vital.
Last Time on Star Trek Beyond:
The USS Enterprise, having been attacked and mortally damaged in a battle with the tyrant Covenant who rule this area of space, have been rescued and taken to large extraordinary vessel.
Unfortunatly the Captain has been taken and is now the Prisnor of the Covenant Commander Malak.
Now they have been contacted. The species appearance is the same as that of the assistant chief medical officer....

OOC: Re-posted for continuity.
Makoto could only stare in wonder as the Enterprise got closer to the center of the great ship, never having seen anything like it before.
She backed up one step as the golden hologram appeared, her mouth dropping for a moment before she hastily closed it again while moving next to Lt. Figueroa, silently wondering what this entity was while at the same time appreciating the physical presence that radiated off of him. A small smile came to her face as she listened to him welcome them, and she nodded in responce, looking around to see the reactions of the others...

Foley tapped his com badge un aware of what was going on in the observation lounge.
"Foley to Commander Logan, Ive managed to save Major Shepard. However he is now in coma and I cant do anything about it. He could wake up in a few days or it could be years or never. I recommend that someone esle is found to command our marines. Foley out."
With that Foley rubbed his tired eyes again and went straight to helping another injured crew member.

He did not know what he was looking at. If he did not know any better the hologram was in a form of a deity, with the golden lights and tribal gear emanating his importance. He noticed Makoto approaching close to him and he to her. He was unsure of his intentions even from his friendly appearance and attitude he did not like straight out kindness for he always felt a sort of ill intention, yet he was in a state of uncertainty.

Logan amazed by this being slowly made his way out of his seat and stood up as if he was going to greet the entity.

Jade stood in awe as the being spoke. It seems to glow of light. Now she really hoped she was wrong. "What.....are you?"

The figure watched as Logan stood, but then looked at Jade with her question, still maintaining the kind smile, looking around his hair was long and loose, unbound by any means as it flowed wherever it desired, his voice most noticeable as sit had a soft flowing echo to it, showing that it was a communication, and he was not actually there.
"Not what, but who." he responded to her in a soft manner, "I am the High elder, Jerra. (Jer'RAH) I think perhaps it is i who should ask who you are." He interjects as he stepped forward with his staff, looking down at the awestruck Jade, His eyes fixated on her own as he awaited an answer.

Gordon listened as over the comm chatter it was announced that the Major was hurt. "Looks like I'm up, and late at the same time. C'mon Sgt. Major."
The two of them left the bridge and entered the observation deck to see the golden hologram close to Jade...a little voice whispering in his mind "A little too close." Rosa almost went for her weapon, but he put a hand on her shoulder, and whispered, "He's not hostile...a little too close to one of the crew, but not hostile." "Understood." At this, he raised his voice to normal, "Lieutenant Gordon reporting for the meeting to represent the Marines."

She watched the interaction between the figure and the Science officer, before stepping forward, pronouncing his name naturally, "Elder Jerra. While it is certainly a pleasure to meet new people, what is this place? and what are your people called?" she said, having noticed the man's resemblance to one of their medical officers.

Slowly, the figure turned and looked at all of the people talking to him and demanding questions from him... keeping his composure as he took a step back away from jade to step closer to Logan, his daunting size showing.
"Do not be so troubled... i am not your Captor." he gave, no longer smiling as he broke up his speech
"Don't interrupt your elders either..." he gave, his smile returning as he turned away and moved In-between Makoto and the marines. He first looked over the new entrants, eyeing their weapons before looking at them individually.
"I see your warriors are a bit jumpy." he gives with a small chuckle before turning back to Makoto with a smile, leaning on his staff at the less intrusive and demanding questions, lowering himself down to the height of the Intel officer.
"Child, you are inside of our Harbor ship, you are inside of Me. The Vessel that brought the Cai'Nari people to your galaxy what seems Eons ago, We are all that remains." he pauses for a moment, no longer smiling as he addresses Makoto as if she were a little girl,
"A day of great sorrows fell upon us, and now we are alone in your galaxy." He references to the ship outside with a gesture with his hand.

Inside of me? Did he mean he was the ship and if so does that mean there are other starship AIs besides Enterprise? Figueroa's curiosity kicked in, easily overshadowing any doubt or mistrust he had for the creature. He took one step forward to address the being. "When you said 'inside of me' what did you mean exactly, are you a living being or a computer AI." He took another second to ask one more thing in relation to what was said. "And by alone you mean there are more of you?"

The hologram careened his head curiously at Figs, grinning as he leaned forward some, quite close to him as he now tended his questions.
"An AI or living being?" he asked in self pondering, pausing for a moment before giving his answer, "Both, I power the ship's AI system, but i am alive in the core of the ship. I feel the interstellar winds across my skin, and the love my people give me as they live in and care for the inside of the ship." he gives in full before frowning at the second question, his tail flicking as he gives a sigh.
"The memory is from thousands of orbits past, I carried some of our people here through the great gate, so that we may escape the conflict of our home. Sadly, the gate has been destroyed by the xenophobic tyrants you and your brothers and sisters have already met." he pauses as he scowls, obviously displeased.
"I suppose for your first question, you could consider me an AI crafted upon the base of an organic being. I exist as the ship in full, but there is also a body connected to the ship to enable this to be so." he gives softly as he stands up straight, eager to move off the subject of being alone.
"I believe it is my turn to ask a question." he states, smiling softly as he looks around the room, "You have come here with a purpose, i doubt it is to battle the armies of empires by yourselves." he asks in softer tones.

"All we wanted was to pass through. But those bastards destroyed the Hero and then attacked us when we didn't meet their ridiculous demands!" She speaks up and then turns to Logan "Sir. We can't just sit here and chat. They have the Captain!"

It was Gordon's turn to ask a question, a logical one no less. "Elder, would your people by any chance have information on these tyrants you spoke of? You see, they captured our Elder, so to speak, and we would like to mount a rescue mission, preferably with your help." He said, relating his question in terms that were easily understood, knowing more about first contact then he had let on.
