Solving the Engineering Problem

Thomas found himeself in a whirlwind of speech. He had called an early morning meeting of the ships Engineering crew. He had seen their Inexperiance and wanted to help, he had also seen the Chief own colourful way of dealing with it and if frankly wasn't helping. From what he had heard from the crew, his critisisms were bad for morale, and making them more likely to make mistakes. That would soon change. Thomas told them to read up on their specialisms and to ignore the chief when he went on one of his rants, instead he told them to come to him and he would help them sovle their misakes, rather than patronising them for it. And if all else failed, Thomas would have to confront the chief.
