The magnetic doors roared open as the vacuum conditions were removed. As the doors opened wide a metal bar and countless barrels and containers fell near the now startled Lieutenant. "Bloody Hell!" he screamed nearly avoiding the avalanche. The deck dark with only a few emergency lights flickering in and out of existence. The contuinous battles with the Covenant did not end well for this bay. Supplies and parts littered the ground while containers and stacks of other ship essentials towered the bay. Any second to push would make them join the others upon the desert sea. Today was his day off and what better way it was then to work on his second project while aboard the most advance ship in the fleet. Only problem his project was somewhere within this Ground Zero. He sighed knowing his day off will not be as easy as he would have hoped. He jumped in moving the debris around and began to look for his goal.

The Wing Commander paused outside the cargo bay, having come on a small personal errand of sorts, to find a spare part for her fighter. The manifest said that it was in this bay, but as she stepped through the doors, she found it to be a mess. However it would be more of a mess as a wrong step by her suddenly brought down a rack of smaller items on top of her.
Once the ruckus had stopped, Danielle found herself very much covered by all sorts of miscellaneous items and other containers and stacks. "Well, I didn't know you wanted me that badly." she said with a light grin, not noticing the Operations officer as she tried to extricate herself from such a predicament, adding as an after-thought, "That hurt damnit!"

The Lieutenant just finished replacing some of the scattered supplies when he heard pile fall in the distance. For every pile he puts back up another falls but this one was different. He heard another person's grunts as the pile fell. He raced over to the disturbance only to hear a very odd comment from the covered woman. He was about to reply and help when she made another outburst. "Excuse me?" was his response as he noticed it was the new Wing Commander from the hero. The same one that came and checked out the Shuttle bay just after he cleared some of the debris. He began to assist the Wing Commander out of the mess and extended his hand for her to grab.

A look of surprise crossed her face. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't see you in here." she said, grasping his hand firmly and slowly got to her feet. "My my, where are my manners? I'm Wing Commander Danielle Gordon, the squadron just calls me Grass though." she said with a grin,
"In here to clean up I see? All I came for was a spare part for my fighter...but they seem to hide where you least want them to." she added with a sense of humor.

Raising her up from the floor he listened to her introduction. He was right on the money identifying her. "The names Andrew Figueroa, Chief of Operations." He left out his nick name on purpose, he didn't like openly telling others about it. "Cleaning was not my intention. I am actually looking for something as well." He laughed at her final comment as he looked around the room as he saw the new mess just piled upon the old. He sighed as he continued. "It seems though cleaning is something I can't avoid this time."
He bent down picking up some of the mess while asking "So what parts were you looking for exactly?" Always the one to help.

"Well I was looking for.." she said, going on to describe the spare part she needed for her fighter. "Any ideas?" she asked after finishing.

He placed his hand under his chin as if in a thinking pose. "Hm, it seems the parts you need are indeed here. If I recall correctly they were near the mess at the B-3 storage container." He showed where the container should be but unfortunately the last tumble made this aisle a disaster zone. Multiple containers were opened while it's contents littered upon the ground. "The mess just became a bigger mess." He said thinking over their options. "I think we should first reactivate this bays safety protocols to prevent more containers and supplies to litter the floor." He looked towards the Wing Commander wondering if she would agree to his idea.

OOC: I'm a bit late, sorry for the delay.
IC:
"Fair enough, do what you need to do Lieutenant." she said, before walking over to the mess that was near the B-3 storage container and beginning to sift through what was there.
