Glancing around the room the Major nods satisfied. The room now had some decoration. A klingon Bat'leth hanging on one wall, around it an assortment of weapons from other cultures, both on earth and across known space. Besides the wall adorned with weapons in his desk and chair, and two chairs for visitors. His desk has a two pictures on it, one of his family, and one of just his parents. His office also has a weapons locker, stocked with equipment incase of emergency.
As he takes his seat he hears his door chime, "Enter" He says as he looks up to see who his first visitor would be...

Faith enters the room, wearing her Normal teal Medical officer's uniform, giving a salute and a smile to the Major. The tall canid bearing down with her gaze, "Ensign Nom'Ah-nor, reporting." She attempted to give crisply, rasping a bit through her teeth with the pronunciation of her given last name.

"At ease Ensign, you must be the combat medic. Take a seat. What brings you to my office?" He ask as the ensign enters, curious as to why she was dropping in.

She has a seat, nodding in response to the assumption. Smiling at the next question. "I haven't met you yet..." She states with a pause. "I've been on station... longer. As I am a Doctor." she responds while relaxing in the guest chair a bit, leaning back.

"Yes, i heard something about you joining our crew. First of your kind to join starfleet right?" He replies, also relaxing a little at the chance to talk.

Faith gives a nod in response, "And..." she begins to add wwith paws, fingers going to idly play with one of her long elaborate braids to keep her hair out of the way. "The only one known." she gives with a low tone.

"I see. It must be... saddening, to be the only one of your kind that you know of. But you're a combat medic so my Marines will treet you like family. So remember, aboard this ship, you're never alone." He says with a smile. He felt sorry for this girl, she was the last, or at least last know, of her kind. He couldin't even imagine what she must feel.

She immediately smiles at the response, any detectable form of sadness vanishing and a noticeable intensity change to a brighter shade of green. "I must be the overprotective mother." she rasps, able to put the sentence together normally, still rasping at TH pronunciation as she jokes, standing up, "There may be more... somewhere." she offers up optimistically, before beginning to walk out, able to be stopped beforehand if he had anything to ask of her.

He nods as she stands "Indeed, drop by any time you wish to speak with me Faith, my door is always open. And if you would like to join me in the gym, or with my marines in the training holo suites feel free to do so." He says with another comforting smile.
