Jade nodded a thanks to the first Lieutenant who had saved her life only moments ago, at least her free life anyway. She was now hurrying along after the others, phaser pistol drawn and firing at anything that moved. That was until their adaptive shields went up. But these were different somehow....they were not just adapting to the energy. It was then they ran past a downed Borg and a crazy thought came into her head. One she knew she couldn't pass up on. She holsted her phaser and took out her holographic tricorder and ran over to the dead Borg, scanning it. "Hang on!" She called out to the others "if I can just get a good scan of this drone we might be able to find a way around their new defensive shields." She could tell the others thought she was crazy and heard their cries for her to drop the tricorder and run. But she couldn't. This was important and she knew it. She had only until she was either ordered or dragged away, she only hoped she had time to take enough readings. Ahead she felt the Borg drones at the end of the corridor, gaining on her. Time was running out but she continues scanning.

Turning Shepard grunts with annoyance and then says "Damn it, Lt Gordon, i can't risk what we have and these lives, take the rest back to the shuttles while Mandelo and myself remain here cloaked, should only take a minute. We will catch up, if we don't you're in charge of my marines, keep em' alive Gordon, i'm counting on you!" Shepard rushes back to Jade's position. "Move it Mandelo! we only have a couple minutes before these cloaks ware out again." He stands guard near her as she works. He only hoped the data was worth it...

Upon hearing the Captain , Dr Foley quickly dispatches a medical team to the Bridge to see to the injured there. The Dr then dispatched another two teams to the shuttlebay to await the returning Marines. " And remember " he called to his staff just as they were leaving " if you get any Marine bravado about not being seriously hurt knock them straight out with a hypo and bring them here , in fact " he sayd grabbing a fully stocked medical case of a bench " I'm coming to the shuttlebay with you , lets go!" he cried and left to await the retuning Marines.

He paused for a moment before leaning close to the Major, whispering in his ear, "You both had better come back, or I'll kick your ass myself...sir." After the light moment he took out an ion grenade, activated it and threw it, shouting, "Grenade!" as the ion grenade landed in the middle of the drones and took their adaptive shields offline. Then he pulled out his M1911A1, shooting forward until his clip was expended before holstering it again and bringing up his KEW, mowing down the wave of drones until his clip was dry, then he tapped the Major on the shoulder hard, the signal that guard duty was his now as the 1st Lieutenant peeled off and caught up with the Marines and other officers, reloading his clip as he did so. "Alright lets move out, cover the wounded and return to the shuttles, Go!"

"Just another minuet" she called back to the Major, continuing to scan. Just as she was about to complete her cloak simmered and failed. The Borg ahead were now right above her and at the last possible second... "Got it!" She cried out and then pulled herself up and moved back wards, now seeing the drones only feet away "ok now we can go."

Faith Frustratingly looked back at Mandelo and the Major, watching the younger Marine try and get them to come back, delaying a few minutes before starting to pull away from the extremely close waves of Borg drones. She stopped Gordon in his tracks and handed him off Jack, tapping him on the back lightly from him to move on as she hands off the other wounded she was carrying to another 'drafted' assistant as she walked towards the two lagging behind so much. "This is no time to be heroes, I'll get you another Borg if you want to bring it back." she said grimly and fast, making her sound like she was growling in her throat when they got close as she forcefully grabbed them around their waists with what seemed to be rather irresistible strength, holding them over her shoulders and sprinting they went down the hall quickly, gaining distance quicker than they could, at least until they where safe back in the middle of the rest of the marines and officers.

He picked Jack up as best he could, and carried him to a defensible position at the end of the corridor, laying him down gently with the rest of the wounded, not having time to look back as the Doc went to retrieve the other two away team members. "Private, get on the ACCW, we're going to cover the Doc." The man nodded as Gordon took out his Sniper rifle, removing the sound suppressor as the Private ran up a little closer to the drones and began to fire while moving backwards, and Gordon methodically followed the Private's line of fire, splitting the heads of several drones, pulling the trigger one last time as the Doc and the Private rejoined the group. "Mag Change." he said, putting another clip into the rifle and pulling the loading mechanism back before shouldering the rifle again. "Let's move out!"

The Enterprise had taken a sharp down turn to get themselves out from the central targets of the cube, now it glided back as the rest of the fleet began to gain. The ship was right in the middle of a massive Borg fleet and any ship within firing range was firing at the vessel. Valdora had ordered ablative armor and now the skin of the ship was covered with the encasing, but the cracks were starting to show, bit of the armor were flying off everywhere and reveal the main hull below. "Armour is failing! Shields at 40%!" Called an officer. Valdora walked down toward his chair, grabbing his chair arm as the ship once again took heavy fire, the bridge sparking and on emergency lights, scorch marks and dim consoles all over, steam venting. "Status of the slipstream drive?" The Captain demanded as he sat in his chair. "Still on line...barely" replied the officer at ops. "Then we will wait another 5 minuets and if the shuttles do not appear we will have to go without them" he stated. "But sir! We will have to drop our shields and armour....we would be destroyed!" Protested the ops officer. "You have your orders! Work on getting the cloak online if only for a second, it could be all we need."

After being set down Shepard glares at Faith for a moment "For picking up two superior officers at once Ensign, i expect YOU to get the celebratory drinks now!" Before grinning and saying "Back aboard the shuttles, double time it, wounded to the closest then the rest of us to the other." As the wounded are loaded up in the first shuttle the rest double time it back to shuttle two. Fighting their way through the Borg.
"Alright marines, lets move!" Shepard says as they leap into their shuttle. The door seals just as the Borg are approaching, but just as it does the marines toss through some special charges. As the two shuttles take off their shields are brushed by the explosions from their last surprise for the Borg. They quickly cloak and dart off towards the embattled Enterprise...
((OOC: Note, if that was to much developement i can edit, i just thought we should get back to the ship before it explodes or leaves without us=P))

Makes sure to seal the shuttle door as the others rush to the next nearby shuttle, pounding loudly on the frame into the cock-pit, "Go!" she growled as she unsealed her helmet. Slowing down now, she makes sure that all of the beds on the shuttle are filled with those with the most serious injuries... including Jack as she unsealed her Medi-kit again... taking out the Hypo and applying it once more before starting to tend to the others with their injuries, applying Painkillers, anti-burns and Dermal Regenerator treatments.... she might have them all patched up before they even get to sickbay.

"Captain" Durn called out "I am picking up the signal from the shuttles!" Valdora ducked from a splatter of sparks and the moved a fallen bulkhead out of his way before replying. "Fire everything we have at the nearest vessels and prepare to cloak and lower shields. Durn inform the away team of our predicament and we have to wait for the right moment, they will also have to relly on sensors to dock as we will be cloaking." "Sir the cloak has taken damage and will only fuction for five minuets at most" said the officer at ops. "....And they will need to be quick" he added and sat in his chair.

Elizabeth was veritibly swinging the enterprise around space, in a vain effort to avoid the fire of over a dozern borg cubes. "Captain, I'm not sure how long I can keep the majority of the Borgs fire off us, Helm Control is becomming sluggish, I think they've hit the portside impulse engines" ELizabeth reported as her console sparked and she raised her hand to protect her face before getting back to work.

Jade co piloted the shuttle along with Commander Logan as Hunter was attended to in the back. "Commander. I am getting a message from the Enterprise. They say they are going to cloak for only a few minuets allowing us them to drop shields and armour so we can land. However the cloak was messed up by the Borg so they know it won't last long. I am transmitting our signal to land."
